Description
IGAMA company for the first time in Ukraine introduced international Escrow technology for OLX, the largest online classifieds platform in the country. OLX belongs to the Naspers group of companies and is one of the top 10 most visited sites in Ukraine, occupying a leading position in the “E-commerce and shopping” category.
By collaborating with logistics companies and fintech solutions, IGAMA helped implement OLX Delivery and online payments, which were previously unavailable on the platform.
Escrow technology implemented by IGAMA made it possible to ensure safe and comfortable transactions on OLX. It helped fight fraud by conditionally depositing money in an intermediary’s account until the goods are received by the buyer and paid by the seller.
Thanks to OLX Delivery, Ukrainian users can make secure transactions without prepayment and the risk of receiving unnecessary goods.
In 2022, the OLX Delivery service was used 12.7 million times, and the total number of transactions for the entire time amounted to 29 million. The total amount of purchases for 2022 was UAH 8.8 billion.
